Our Workshops

In the aftermath of the global financial crisis, youth employment has been recognised as one of the major challenges of our times. It is also a top policy priority for policymakers in Europe who are eager to improve prospects for decent employment among the region’s youth. The factors hampering youth employment are mostly structural and on the demand side of the labour market. Hence entrepreneurship, including youth entrepreneurship, can contribute to the solution. We believe that, if equipped with the right skills, mentors, social networks, technology and finance, young entrepreneurs could drive economic growth and social progress.

Unemployment is particularly seen in youth belonging in disadvantaged or minority groups since they usually also lack access to proper education and tools required in the job hunt. They often also lack the prerequisite familiarity with the systems and structures required for founding and operating a successful business. Therefore, the FHB Foundation hold regular workshops focused on strengthening the entrepreneurship skills of disadvantaged youth.

We offer efficient workshops to young leaders from a disadvantaged background and introduce various aspects of youth entrepreneurship with the special emphasis on how to move from theory to practice in the field of youth entrepreneurship. Participants will also learn how to realise their own talents and maximise their potential.
